Gregory Krak is a co-founder and partner at our firm. Greg obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1992, where he was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma academic honor society and a three- time member of the All-Academic Southeastern Conference Golf Team. He received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1996. While in law school, he was a member of Stetson’s Law Review.
Upon graduation from law school, Greg was a prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office in Pinellas County, Florida for 4 years. As an assistant state attorney, he tried more than 50 jury trials and gained invaluable experience in the courtroom. Changing from criminal to civil law, Greg then spent a little more than 3 years representing insurance companies involving a variety of different claims. After observing how insurance companies treated consumers, Greg dedicated the next 17 years of his practice solely to helping homeowners and business’ owners with their property damage insurance claims. Greg has successfully recovered money for over a thousand property owners throughout the state of Florida for all types of insurance claims, including losses caused by hurricanes and windstorm, hail storms, sinkholes, fires, water intrusion, plumbing issues, vandalism, mold, theft and other causes. With his experience, Greg has been a guest speaker for various associations and groups on the topic of property insurance claims.
Greg’s wife, Kathleen, is also an attorney. They live in Orlando with their 2 children. Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and traveling.
